MEDGEN LABORATORIES, INC. (MGLI) was incorporated on October 28, 1988 with an authorized capital of Twenty (20) million pesos. It is a 100% Filipino owned corporation and duly registered with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). Its plant facilities and offices are located at no. 74 Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City. The company is licensed by the Bureau of Food And Drugs (BFAD), with LTO no. RDII-MM-DM-0118, to operate as DRUG MANUFACTURER and TOLL MANUFACTURER, and is allowed to distribute its own pharmaceutical products. It is managed by DR. GIL E. DIVINAGRACIA, as President and MA. BELLA D. MERCADO, as General Manager.

Presently, the company produces pharmaceutical preparations in the form of capsules, tablets sterile solution, suspensions and syrups.

The Generic products are marketed through appointed Provincial Distributors. The National Capital Region (NCR) is covered by a team of Sales and Marketing personnel of MEDGEN. Government sales transactions are handled directly by the Company, or through authorized representatives.

MEDGEN uses only high quality raw materials from world class manufacturers. They are source through importation and local purchase from reputable trading firms. It also ensures that production of its pharmaceutical products follows the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) as prescribed by BFAD.

The Company has three subsidiaries, MG PRIME PHARMACEUTICAL, Inc. , EYECARE PRODUCTS, Inc. and ATLANTIC PHARMACEUTICAL, Inc. MG PRIME is a partly owned subsidiary and was formed to handle the marketing and sales of branded products. EYECARE Products Inc. is a fully owned subsidiary which markets and sells contact lens solution and are available at all leading optical stores. ATLANTIC PHARMACEUTICALS, Inc. is also a fully owned subsidiary that was formed to import and distribute branded and generic medicines and medical devices.

The Company has envisioned to expand its distribution network through its distributors so as to make affordable and quality Generic Drugs available with in the reach of all Filipinos. It is committed to adhere to its motto: “Integrity … is our manufacturing concern.”
